Posted on September 17, 2010

Just as when we thought that fashion has seen enough of collaborations between brands and designers, Swedish clothing company H&M announces its tie-up with Paris fashion powerhouse Lanvin. The aim of this collaboration of two fashion giants is for H&M to go for a sleek and chic line of evening wear.

To spearhead this project between the two is Lanvin’s menswear designer Lucas Ossendrjiver who has been a big factor in shaping the direction of men’s fashion over the recent years. Some innovations credited to this genius designer includes pieces like dandy neck ties and corsages, crumpled silk suits, as well as the the coveted Lanvin tux jacket and hi-tops. With Ossendrjiver’s efforts, Lanvin was also able to cement its status in the fashion industry with a store opening in Saville Row.

The collaborative collection of H&M and Lanvin will be available on stores starting November 23, 2010. Expect a relaxed yet elegant take on men’s clothing that echoes the sophistication and charm of the the two brands.
