Alonso is the New Face of Ferrari Scent

Posted on August 9, 2010

Ferrari has tapped F1 driver Fernando Alonso as the face of their new men’s scent called Scuderia, which is inspired by the Ferrari of the same name and the world of Formula One racing. This new perfume is slated to come out in UK and Italy this September.

The Spanish Scuderia Ferrari driver is reported to have been very excited with this new project, which is also in time with his campaign to snatch this year’s F1 driver’s title.

The new Scuderia eau de toilette , which is produced by Italy-based Morris Profumi, a subsidiary of Perfume Holding, is said to be one of a slew of forthcoming launches aimed at refreshing the holding company’s existing scent portfolio.

Also revving up to hit the beauty racetrack is Belstaff. Known for its biker-chic credentials, the company revealed that it has a fragrance in the pipeline scheduled for January and a skin care line on tap for June. All the products will mirror the brand’s biker and outdoorsy spirit with sunscreens and antismog creams. Belstaff wouldn’t disclose its partner for the project.
