After a very successful launch last year, Van Heusen India is once again launching a Fashion Week that will feature some of the most talented and up and coming designers in the Indian fashion scene showcasing the widest range of men’s fashion wear and accessories. The event is set for August 27-29 to be held at The Grand Vasant Kunj.

According to Sunil Sethi, president of the Fashion Design Council of India, “The second annual Van Heusen India Men’s Week is slated to be a world class event, showcasing the very best of Indian talent through an excellent line up of designers, models and choreographers.”

Last year’s event featured designers like JJ Valaya, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Rina Dhaka, Rohit Bal and Tarun Tahiliani. This year, more designers are expected to showcase their collections.

“The first edition was the ideal takeoff point for the brand in the fashion space. Core values of the brand got strengthened and we were able to see immediate results in the retail business. We’re certain the second edition will be an even bigger success,” this according to Shital Mehta, chief operating officer for Van Heusen.
